So far, pretty good. Some experimenting.

[2.5]Well, this isn’t really nap 2.5, but it’s after the time of my usual 5th nap.
Anyway, Today I skipped two naps. 12pm and 4pm. I had to do this because I was doing some construction project and then I wanted to play some brawl with some friends. I could feel the tiredness creeping up as time went on, but it wasn’t really that overtaking at this point. Probably because I’m not fully adapted. It may also have to do with a short nap that I took on some stairs during a construction break. I just laid down and passed straight out. Judging by time estimates and what information I’ve heard regarding time throughout the day . My best guess would actually be around 20 minutes. I wonder if failing doesn’t really reset and damage all progress completely. Maybe it is still progressing.

I really don’t know what stopped me from passing out for a longer period of time until someone woke me up. Even though I slept for a short period of time, I really don’t think that I would be able to sleep without an alarm clock. Maybe it was just the fact that I was sleeping on stairs.

Oh yeah, if anyone is wanting to try this I don’t suggest watching anything to try and stay awake. Movies anime/shows anything. I was really tired while watching them and trying to pass the time using this as a weapon. One x-files episode is almost an hour. Anyway, what started happening is that I was micro-napping. It would feel good to close my eyes, then all of a sudden it’s like I went to sleep for a while. I didn’t completely pass out, but it just felt like I closed my eyes to rest for a little bit, realized I was falling asleep, opened them and more time than what it felt like has passed. It was pretty cool, maybe I’ll use this training for the… ULTIMATE sleeping method. Aka neversleep method - sleeping for a fraction of a second every time you blink.

I’m pretty tired, looking forward to the 20 minutes soon. Yum.

So far, no cravings for certain foods. My appetite is pretty huge, though. I just eat at anytime, even though I’m thinking that the best thing to do would probably be to eat a small meal during every waking block, most likely at the beginning. Speaking about food, I’ve discovered that if you have absolutely nothing to do, eating will keep you awake. I was just eating some watermelon slowly while watching Code Geass/X-files and it worked like a charm. I need to go Mulder with some sunflower seeds.

Eating sounds like a good thing to keep you awake. And watermelon is pretty good for that because it’s mostly just water. I’ll keep reading how you progress with this :)

good use of the terminology, micro-napping. i do that all the time while watching tv/movies, working, even driving! yeah, i would suggest doing something more active, like a jigsaw puzzle or model airplane building. lol..
